Why a trial class first?

Every child starts in a different place. The trial class is a gentle first meeting where Teacher Shaf gets to know your child.

In the trial, Teacher Shaf looks at:

  • Where your child is now: how they read, spell and write today.
  • What she can offer: whether her lessons fit what your child needs next.
  • Which class suits them: some children do well in a small Friday group. Others learn better one to one, in a Personal Class at home, or in a Private Class coming soon

After the trial, Teacher Shaf tells you which class she thinks fits your child best.

Trial fee: BND$40 for Personal (BM and English). BND$15 for Group (2 classes over 2 weeks, 1 BM and 1 English).

The trial fee is not refunded, and a trial does not hold a slot.

Flexi Class has no trial. So when you sign up, please tell Teacher Shaf about anything your child may need extra support with.

Meet Teacher Shaf

Dayangku Shafikah binti Pg Hj Roslan

A Malay Bruneian teacher who has been helping children read and write since 2016. She teaches in Bahasa Melayu and English, for children aged 5 to 10.

How she teaches:

  • She starts where your child is. The trial shows their level, and lessons begin from there.
  • Each child goes at their own pace.
  • Every class is reading and writing, in Bahasa Melayu or English.
  • Friday groups stay small, so every child gets her attention.

Before your child joins

  • Ages 5 to 10
  • Child must be potty trained, at any age
  • Trial class first. Flexi Class does not need one.
  • Personal Class: an adult must be at home during the class.
